Description
Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde (born October 16, 1854 in Dublin, † November 30, 1900 in Paris) was an Irish writer who settled in Dublin and Oxford in London after school and studies. As a lyricist, novelist, dramatist and critic, he became one of the most famous and, in Victorian England, the most controversial writer of his time. Two sons came from his marriage to Constance Lloyd. Because of homosexual "fornication" (gross indecency) two years of dog house was condemned with hard forced labor; They ruined theirs. After his release, he lived impoverished in Paris, where he died at the age of 46.
