Charles Bronson (born November 3, 1921 in Ehrenfeld, Pennsylvania, origin Charles Dennis Buchinsky, † August 30, 2003 in Los Angeles, was an American actor of Lithuanian and Slavic origin.
From the late 1960s onwards, Bronson was one of the world's most popular stars for a decade. He usually played worthless heroes in Western and action movies. In 1968 he won the song of death in the role of a mysterious revolver. One of his most successful films was the thriller A Man Looks Red (1974), who had the selfjustice on the subject.
Bronson died of pneumonia and-or Alzheimer's disease at the age of 81 on August 30, 2003 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was buried at the Brownsville Cemetery in West Windsor, Vermont.
